Wow, after a 2 run lead, Obama jumps in the Press box to talk to commentators, and the NL pulls in 3 runs, 1 off of an error to take the lead! Who wouldve thought the Prez was a good luck charm!! GO NL!!!!:banana:

Each year I go into the break thinking of how much of a beat down an All-Star game is because they really are for the other three sports. Maybe it's because when I was a kid I thought the MLB All-Star game was greatness, when the game starts I'm hooked.
I thought last night's game was actually a good game. I mean how many All-Star games have intentional walks?

I think intentional walks in an All-Star game are dumb. You're an All-Star pitcher, you're supposed to be one of the best. Either strike the dude out or drill him in the back.

Franklin's beard is, in part, tribute to Bruce Sutter.

At the beginning of the season when the closer role was up for grabs the entire bullpen had the beards rockin'. They figured they could channel Sutter's greatness through the power of beard.
