I'm mainly an acoustic guy (14 at the last count:tongue:), and I have come across a Jackson model I need info on. I'm trying to decipher the serial number, due to conflicting info on the production date of the guitar. Anybody?

Thanks for the help. I had found that site, but it only shows "American made" numbers. I guess there's really now way to decipher the imported stuff.

What you got?
Before you even explain what you have if you're having problems with serial numbers not jiving it was probably made between 1992 and 1994.
Jackson was in a transition period during that time and they crated up all their body blanks and parts and shipped them to Japan to be assembled. Well shit got all mixed up and a bunch of guitars ended up with the wrong serial numbers and even more of them ended up with numbers that aren't on record.
