Yet again, the lying piece of shit is caught. Supposedly he stopped all the bashing of videos, removed the "ricer rehab" on his site to stop bashing on others cars because it was the right thing to do. But nope, he lied.

That's the funny thing about it all, I never dangled from his nuts. I've always been anti-RKC. I was over there to help change the site to a more serious car related site, but in the end it wasn't to be. Jared's a habitual liar and completely wrong for this hobby. I'm about this hobby and making it better for everyone. He expressed an interest in doing that, but it wasn't true at all.
He claims 18000 members, but might have an actual 200 regular members at most. I never at any point was Jared's "friend" but rather shoot him straight, direct, blunt and to the point. He either took the advice as it was, or he didnt. Once I realized it was a waste of time and not going anywhere, I left and deleted my account.

It's not about being vindictive at all, but rather treating good car people right and not misleading them. Those that know him, know what I am talking about. From your perspective since you're not involved at all, I can see your view on it. It was NEVER about defending Jared, but doing something positive in the local car community. I was asked for help and tried to dp as much as I could. But when you have someone who owns the site completely working against the whole staff, it's time to go and not waste any further time on it.

I knew I was taking a big chance and I expected the backlash. I just really enjoyed the days back when there was real GTG's on DFWstangs/GC2 boards. It was about the cars and the people. Rather than the nothing that goes on now.
I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Jared's a very good talker, a salesmen if you will. He will make you believe if wants to do this and that, but all he really cares about is having huge numbers of members for bragging rights, rather then the people.
I know that everyone here on DFWstangs talks their shit, it wouldn't be DFWstangs if it didnt happen. But I still believe that most are good car people. I love this hobby and the people in it. I've made some life long friends because of this hobby. And seeing someone who completely disrespects the hobby and the people of it, irritates me greatly.

Sometimes, its not about the "hobby". Sometimes its just about going out and hangin with friends, showing your ride etc. RKC meets are good for that.
The kind of "mega" meets the Jared/RKC puts on will ALWAYS have its fair share of kiddie like attendees. The only way I know to secure a lot and keep most of the riff raff out is to have a "car show". Payed entry with trophy/plaques. Sure, the numbers would be down, and not so many would care to pay to show their ride, but its a proven concept. My guess is that he might generate 75 to 150 cars at best.
I will still show up for the occasional RKC meet to visit with friends, and we may take the Cobra from time to time.
What I'm tryin to say here steve, is that no matter what you say about Jared/RKC, its really not gonna change a thing. Nothing changed when Topher left, and nothing is gonna change now that you left. All you can do is to hope that you left with a positive reputation. Joining in with all the Dallas Racing guys leading the hate parade for Jared is not helping you at all.

Short term motivation is usually caused by short term goals. ie; anger, etc.
In all my years of the arts, my motivation was never to learn how to fight, but to better myself in discipline, pride and honer. Being in shape and knowing how to defend myself are just secondary benefits.

No more foxbodies for me. I'll leave them to the kids. I was buying fox's out of habit. And my days of chasing strange pussy are LONG over. lol. Don't think my wife of 15 years would appreciate that too much. Hahaha.

I don't own black wheels, never have, never will. I detest the all "murdered out" look. My 93 Cobra had the stock wheels, the Mach has chrome 18 inch FR500's and the SRT-8 has chrome srt 5 spokes. Not sure where you are getting the black wheel thing from. :confused:
