Looking for a halfway decent roofing place to come out and tell me I need a new roof in the McKinney area. The recent wind a couple of weeks ago blew a few shingles off and I've already patched a few other spots over the years. Insurance company say its can be fixed, but I'm about 99% sure a roofer will want to replace the entire thing. Not looking to get fucked over too hard, but I know how it goes. I just want a place that won't tear everything up and leave a huge mess or run off with my cash after putting cardboard shingles on....

Old roof, been patched, can be 'fixed', need a quote on a roof...

Your post is a cluster fuck. Do you want a new roof or do you want it repaired? It sounds like you want someone to quote you a roof, let you submit it to your insurance, then patch it while you pocket the difference.

Regardless, good luck with it.

phillips roofing in plano done mine. they were the only company that came out and give me a quote that still nailed on the shingles! so we used them and did excellent work in a timely fashion.

Who the hell did you get a bid from, I don't know anybody that doesn't nail their roofs on.

Had T&R Roofing do mine. No complaints and worked with me on the quotation so I didn't have to pay the deductible.
