I'm sure the whole drivetrain is exactly the same. As far as gearing goes it doesn't take very long to change out the gears, even if they have to set up a new set in a new pumpkin it can be done in less than an hour.

As far as weight it's probably pretty close to the same give or take a little.

we did have a weight savings, engine, lenco and pumpkin are from the bird. a lot of new components tho.

with all the bondo on the firebird I would guess about 400 lbs lol. I have never seen bondo so thick as what was on the quarters and roof and i have seen some pretty thick stuff.
