I tend to think that if WE had all the nukes the world would be a better place to live. Do you honestly think that China will check their power in the future? Not me.

Would you be more comfortable if you gave up your weapons and the bad guys in your neighborhood promised to give up theirs?

I doubt any of the people who are willing to leave the USA unprotected would give up their weapons and let bad guys come kill them and their family. Why do they do this then?

This shit makes no sense yet the liberals always come back to pacifism as the answer. I wonder if any of them would advocate negotiating with a serial killer who has vowed to murder their family and comes up to their door. I doubt it!

Yup, we have much bigger problems these days then a third of our nukes. In general we still probably have enough to destroy the planet, but that's more money and such going towards something that really won't make much of a difference.

Why get rid of the ones we have? We are losing billions of dollars every day and they want to get rid of billions that previous administrations have invested in? Doesn't make much sense to me, I would see a halt in creating more but not a disassemblement of the ones we already have.

Maybe the Myan's were right, 2012 is getting closer :firedevil:
