On vacation this week and got bored so I came here looking for some drama because I knew this site would have loads of it.

First post in a long while for me but reading some of this makes me realize that nothing has changed around here!

Feldman is still afraid of a dig race and IS the reigning excuse king (brakes bad, weak clutch, crappy tires). STROKD will always be DORKD as he/she seems to get more immature as he/she gets older.

Personally, I'd like to have a new Camaro. The Ford stuff is getting long in the tooth for me. Ford needs some new design engineers.

Please continue with Romper Room!

Later Ladies!

Finally a man that has been around long enough to call the truth when he sees it about Strokd...LMGDAO!

I found a good video of pulley cobra and c6 racing. It's a heavy vert also.

That cobra in the above vid sounded awesome. I wonder what exhaust combo he has. In the 2nd part of the vid from the vettes view it looked like the tach was moving slow as hell, thought it would pull better then that.

So.. basically what we said would happen happend..
thats an ls3. so its faster then the ls2 in this thread. but im still willing to lose to a cobra:) lets play.

Im still waiting for a "pulley only" cobra to call me out.. the only cobras wanting to run are full bolt on cars that have significant weight reduction. Terminator03s car weighs ALOT less then a stock cobra and makes alot more power then a pully only car, and win or lose i said i would run him but none of the other bolt on cobras seem to want to play.

Ford fuckin sucks.

The discussion of a Mustang vs a Vette is absurd. The Mustang is a boy racer car. The Vette is a superior platform on every level to start with.

I don't see a problem with it. That's just my simple opinion of the Mustang these days. There is dozens of dress up kits and so many prepackaged versions of these cars now it's silly. Twenty inch wheels, bodykits etc. The Mustang scene isn't what it used to be.

Actually, the vette sceen is not much different. We are seeing more and more riced out POS vettes around. You should have seen this Vette a guy tried to trade us last week. That poor thing had been raped in every way you can think of. It was a huge POS! Reminded me of a pieced together Fox Body that a back yard mechanic pieced together. Thank God we did a detailed inspection on it and we passed on the deal!

What we are seeing is ...It all depends on the owner and car. I really have not sceen a typical "Mustang" or "Corvette" owner with these cars like we used to. I don't see the typical vette owner as the old dude with a mustache and the wife with big hair and boobs. We also do not see the huge ego rev at everybody Mustang owner buying these cars like in the past.

We are seeing very young guys buying anything from a C6 Z06 to Mustang GT. We are seeing the older more mature customers buying the exact same. I would say we have sold more 03 04 Cobras to older proffessional type gentleman lately wordwide than young ego punks.

Now, on the oppostite side we have actually sold several C5 and C6 vettes to guys in their early 20's lately. Vettes seem to be a large trend right now.

I believe each car has its pluses and minuses depending on your wants and needs. We get Cobra guys that want to trade for a Vette. We get Vette guys that want to trade for Cobra. A lot of times those guys trade back and forth several times over. Those are just Car guys. I believe the days of small minded Chevrolet vs Ford are a lot less than in the past. Seems to be more well rounded car people today. Some nut swingers of each do hang out on certain boards....for the most part... majority are car guys..not brand loyalty guys and gals.

Every thread is a slight exaggeration on your part, but none the less maybe you shouldn't take my comments so seriously as most are meant with dry sarcasm. I've never pegged you for the sensitive sort, so I don't know why out of all the smart asses on this board you would take offense to mine. But I assure you, it's all in fun.

Terminators car doesn't make a lot more than a pulley only car. Ex presidents car makes more than him and he has air filter cat back and pulley with the stock mid pipe and makes 473. Terminators car has a less boost the most pulley cobras and makes about 450.

A little over 200 pounds. It's still IRS. It has a rear seat delete because that is where it nitrous is mounted.

So I assume it has a ported blower and the nitrous to cool that Heaton off, correct? Prolly makes around 600rw and shitload of torque. Not the typical "pullied" car.

It doesn't have either. Some of yall need to learn how to read. It makes around 450. He hasn't dynod it but its stock blower with the 2.93 pulley. It is about to get tuned for the 276 pulley and bottle this month but isn't running either one of them yet.

Yet..

He should put a port on it. The ported/bottle cars run GOOD. He'll need to keep extra halfshafts laying around for all the IRS breakage. lol.

It will run good with the unported blower and with bias play tires he should be fine.

This is pretty common. We will see a 30-50 HP difference to the ground on idenical cars. Stock vs Stock or exact mods. We have had them dynoed on the same day and near the same time and get big difference in results. Each car seems to have its own charactertics and personality. It is pretty wicked actually.

We have seen the same with the LS motors...

Again, all of this will have a lot of factors to consider.

I used to have a Mustang, traded it for a new '09 Corvette Coupe 2 weeks ago. I've got about the heaviest C6 you can get, it's a loaded with every option automatic with run flat tires. Took it to the track last Saturday and could only get a 12.6 @ 113 in 100 degree/60% humidity. That's no burnout, just launching from idle-1500 RPM and stomping on it. Should do better in cooler weather.

I might hang with a stock Termi, but I doubt I'd have a chance against a pullied bolt-on Termi. And for the record, I've never seen a "stock" Termi Cobra, they all seem to have something done to them.

The Corvette is a superior car to the Mustang in every way IMO. It also costs almost twice as much. For the same money you could build a 7-second Mustang.

Back to arguing.

I won...beat him badly from 0-130...maybe 4-5 cars. From a 40 roll it was only 2 cars, but I am sure my blower was heat-soaked by then. He is pissed and is getting full exhaust and intake and tune. By then the 2.8H KB will be on my car...not gonna tell him that I installed it either! :)
