You ever get to Allen I'll show you my office, I've pretty much have turned my office into a Cowboy's Store, lol! I have 6 mini helmets, Emmitt Smith, Charles Haley, Tony Romo, Darren Woodson, Tony Dorsett, Sam Hurd. ANd a host of DC collectable stuff. :006:

I have an autographed pic of Troy Aikman. My sister financed a car for his personal masseuse and the girl gave it to her as a gift. My sister gave it to me. I also have a couple of un-used tickets for games I never went to. One was for a play off game (I think it was a wild card game) and the other was just a pre-season game I believe.

LMK if you're interested. Don't know what they are worth though.

Other than Aikman, Staubach, Romo, Irvin, & Emmitt you can find all the other Cowboys auto's for pretty cheap. Pictures are the cheapest, footballs & auto'd jersey's will run ya a couple hundred depending on who. Now cards will be a different story, you can find tons of them for cheap, but like the players I listed above...especially auto's or nice patches, those will run you a bit.

Not too much, I saw one at the Stonebriar last weekend and it was $199.00, a Tony Romo fullsize helmet was $799.00 :eek:
And the T-RO mini was $399.00

Now here's what you need to know, there's two things to putting values on items.

1) What is it worth

2) What could I sell it for

Is it a mini-helmet or regular size helmet?

Mini-Helmet Price what it's worth---$100-150
Regular Helmet---$200-300

Mini-Helmet would sell currently around $35-50. Wait until season starts, especially if he's playing well and you could maybe sell it for $75-100!

Regular size helmet would sell around $125-175 currently, once again season starts and he's playing well $200+ easy

NEVER EVER buy from those types of sports memorabilia stores. You are paying a HUGE markup on about everything!

Shop Craigslist, Ebay, Garage Sales, Sports Card Shows, or best way is to get it signed in person and then have it certified with a legit COA.

I don't, mine have all been signed in person, well except for ESmith, I bought that from his store in Pensacola, only because that queer won't sign anything in person. :rolleyes:

If you're getting this stuff for resale I'd focus on these guys:

Tony Romo
Felix Jones
Tashard Choice

If they start out hot, then sell or chance holding onto their stuff. I made a huge mistake years ago with Romo. His first year he played and was becoming a star, I had the chance to pick up a rookie auto card of his for about $200. I hesitated and 2 weeks later it shot up to $500!! I could have made a nice profit there

Michael's, they have sales on framing all the time. I hit them on a 60% off framing sale, I think I spent about $225 for both the Young & Carter.
