So, the Democrats now have a blank check on policy. That's a frightening proposition in this liberal climate. However, I feel that is wrong regardless of who is the dominate party. That's too much power, period.

This is a sad and foreboding bit of news. However, the already much maligned Republican party isn't being helped by dumb fucks like Gov. Mark Sandford. It just demonstrates the hypocrisy of the "moral" right, further eroding what little is left of the Republican party.

It's difficult for me to continue to support conservatives and argue against the left when the right is equally irresponsible and slippery.

I think the plethora of perceived monumental failures of the Bush Administration and incredible momentum of the Democratic party has mortally wounded the GOP. I do not see people making a shift back to the right like we saw after Jimmy Carter. I think there will be lots of disappointed and angry people in 2012.
