Start with the simple things first, check if there is blockage in the tube going out of the back, may even try it without the tube disconnected and pulled away from the wall for a bit, see if it warms up. T-stat would be the next thing, not wure how to check them, I just replaced bith on my old drier and it started working again.

Pull the element out and look at it. If it is broken then the break will be obvious.

I have a GE dryer that works, but makes noise. I was told it needs new bearings. ??? If you want it, its yours. I am in Ft. Worth. PM if interested.

x2... I'd say 70% of the time it's lint blocking up the tube. It only takes a few min. to check.
