Old school backhalf tonight at redline gates open at 6 pm staging lanes close at midnight $ 4ooo.oo dollar payout... $13.00 on pitside $5.00 tech card........spectator side is $ 5.00 or $ 15.00 a car load....so load up a bus and come on out......pile in as many as you can for $ 15.00

i didnt get to go but i heard there were quite i few cars, it seems like a great class..

Hey fag how about some rules for this class? Is it a one time thing or something that is going to be a regular race?
What does the payout break down too?

Hell they won't let me run my truck in this class because the front bumper dzus' on and does not bolt on factory style. even thou I have a full frame still all the way to the back

Second Back Half Shoot Out Rules

No square or round tubing running through frame rails past the front of the firewall.
Front frame rails to extend 12” in behind firewall.
Stock Firewalls in factory position
Stock front frame rails
Tubular A arms and racks-OK.
Coil over shocks OK if mounted in stock location.
Back half from firewall back.
Four link and ladder bars-OK
Motor mounts in stock location.
Any size tire.
No bolt on front ends except 67’ and older Chevy II’s
Big Blocks 3200 lbs, and small blocks 3000 lbs. (Weigh after each round, if you go to your pit prior to weighing automatic DQ)
Single Carburetor.
Two stages nitros on both big and small block.
Single stage plate and fogger or, 2 stage plate or, 2 foggers.
No turbos or, pro chargers.
Automatic transmission only-power glide-turbo 350, etc.
No throttle stops, progressive controls-OK
No sheet metal intakes, no Big Chief heads.
Aluminum blocks only if, no power adders.
4/10ths pro tree
Courtesy stage
Faster than a 5.00 is an automatic DQ.
All track rules apply.
Luck of the draw for pairings (Random drawing by uninterested party)
$50.00 entry fee car & driver
Times will be shown.

You're right, I'm not going to run it.
I still have some peeps with some old style koth stuff that wouldn't mind running something. Looks like it will have ot be in the other class.

My uncle runs this class and YES he is deathly scared of turbos and prochargers, we have a procharger on one of our cars and its not allowed.
