How much would this phone run you if you were buying without a contract?

$549 without contract through ATT for 16gb 3G. 3GS is $599(16gb) or $699(32gb) w/o contract.

Good call. A buddy of mine just got the new 3GS and said he'd sell me his old 3G 16BG for $75, it sounded pretty damn good to me but I wanted to make sure.

i didnt think you could buy an iphone from att without a contract, i tried to buy my girl one for christmas and they wouldnt sell me one without a contract

I already have an 8GB 3G. I just checked ebay and the white 16gb used has sold for $400+. I might just flip this bad boy!

They should! If not then I would look for an apple store but I dont know why they would release w/o contract pricing if they wont sell them without a contract.

good luck....most 3g phones are going for 300 to 350 right now. tried to sell my white 16gb 3g and couldnt get 400$ out of it...just offers of 300, not enough for me to sell it really. Prices should start going back up now that you can unlock them though...
