A 17" or 19" LCD monitor they want to get rid of on the cheap? I don't really care what brand, just something to use as a second monitor for my lappy.

Not sure....but it's not expensive! :)

I really don't know to be honest. I saw a deal on dell earlier today for a 21.x" for $139, so I would hope a lot less than that.

I appreciate the offer on the CRT, I have 2 of those...just have space constraints now. I was really looking for someone that had an extra 17" or 19" laying around that maybe they got with a computer that they didn't need. Was hoping for something around $40-$50

Good luck in your search. I've got spare CRTs as well but plan on hanging on to LCD for a bit since they are such a space saver. A 19" generic one from fry's micro center is probably your best bet as most folks on craiglist are still even trying to sell of CRT's when goodwill wont even take em.
