i didn't watch it when it was actually on but i watched it on you tube after all of the discussion, and i thought that artie was pretty damned funny on the show. other than him, the show was really boring...i can't imagine that anyone watches that dump of a show without someone like artie there making it interesting. anyway, there was a big deal made about how artie was using bad language, etc. (it's an HBO show!) they're all talking about how artie isn't allowed back on and all of that crap, but they should thank their lucky stars that someone was there to make that show interesting...i cant imagine that joe buck's show is going to be on much longer unless he lightens up.

if you haven't seen it, go to youtube and do a search for artie lange and joe buck...it was on there this morning in two parts...pretty funny stuff.

I heard Artie talking about this on Howard the other day. I also recorded the show last night and watched the short segment that Artie was on today and fast forwarded past all the other bullshit. If anything, Artie got Joe's show some press, which other wise was a waste of a show IMO. I guess he figured its HBO, why hold back? That's not his style and that's why fans dig him...

I can't find the video, but David Cross was on the first episode of Last Call with Carson Daly and for the interview he brought out two intern comedians who had pads of paper and pencils. He spent more time talking to them and explaining how to control the interview. Carson Daly was completely lost.
