I am using Rhinoceros 4 combined with rhinocam to make drawings of parts I am trying to make on a home made cnc router I am putting together. I used to be pretty familiar with autocad and am trying to learn rhino now. I pretty much have all the commands down that I need to make the drawings that I need I am just having trouble in a couple areas.
I am having trouble joining the entire part into 1 solid. The drawing as it sits is made of solids, lines, polylines, and arcs. I am aware of commands like join and union that will do certain things to help get it all together but it just will not do it for certain pieces and when I go to render it the solids will fill in and some of the drawing will still look the same. I am not drawing very complicated parts at all and I have been away from drafting software for so long that it is hard remembering it all and on top of that it is a total new program to me.
