1st check these out...

http://www.costco.com/Common/Category.aspx?whse=BC&Ne=5000000&eCat=BC|84|56671|87016&N=4040145+5000014&pos=10&Nr=P_CatalogName:BC&Ns=P_Price|1||P_SignDesc1&lang=en-US&ec=BC-EC10600-Cat56671&topnav=

-typically the systems are cheaper then building it yourself
-good specs, but slightly above your budget
-Costco give 2 year warranty by default

TX Redneck's post is quite valid. I'm a huge MaximumPC fan myself, but don't blindly trust the article obviously.

I don't like your specs - all of the Maximum PC specs are better. What I don't like about the Maximum PC specs it he RAM, which you could increase with the extra 100 dollars. however, I doubt they include shipping...etc..etc in their 500 dollars. (Did not thoroughly read THIS particular 500 dollar build)

Take care,

Its even cheaper now, since 4870's and 4850's are under 125 if you look around.

You can get a cheaper antec case/psu combo too I believe on newegg. I wouldn't trust that rosewill psu.

just watch your shipping on the case.. I agree, cheaper case.

oh, and look into the Western Digital Black Caviar series HDs. I just picked upa 650gig for $65 or so. Very highly rated on newegg. The seagates seem to be going downhill slowly.
