Bought a 4gb Patriot Class 4 Micro SD HC(high capacity) card for my cell phone which is a treo 755p. took some pics with it on the phone saved them to the card and put it in the slot and nothing happens. I was trying to upgrade from the 64mb I have that the desktop always recognizes. Any ideas? TIA
Check your My Computer and open the drive that way.
Your drive may not have autolaunch enabled.

Does the Treo format the SD card in Fat32?
If it doesn't show up in My Computer, go to Disk Management and see if it shows up there. Also check the Hardware Manager to make sure your SD card reader is showing up.

If you have another MicroSD-SD converter laying around try that. I have a bunch of 2GB MicroSD cards that all came with converters and so far I have had 2 bad converters that just wouldn't work. Take the card out, slip it in a different converter and bam there is the disk.

put it back in the phone, and use a USB cable.

not all SD readers can read the SDHC cards.
not all SD readers can read the SDHC cards.
Yup, that's probably it! When I bought a 4GB SDHC hard my card reader wouldn't read it. I would read all of the SD cards up to 2gb but it wasn't made of SDHC.
Get a card reader that can read HC cards and you'll be good to go.
