Quick Question, so while i was at work and power went out apparently my surge protector did nothing to prevent damage to my PC. Well i have had the PC for about 3 weeks now, when our service was restored i turned it on and it seemed as if though it took my pc forever to boot. Well once it was on i tried opening explorer and it would never pop up, so i then restart the pc and it gives me an error about pc not being shut down correctly "which i did", and it gives me the option to boot normally or to run restore or some safety program, well i did both and now it didnt boot at all it would keep restarting itself over and over again. At this point i went into restore and completely restored my pc to factory specs, keep in mind this is a brand new pc with almost no data on it. Now i here and there get non responsive programs for a few seconds, could the storm damage either the motherboard or harddrive or whatever " sorry dont know crap about PC's", or could the restore have really fixed the issue? Sorry for correct grammar and or punctuation, i was never good at English anyway :D Oh and thanks in advance
