Sketchy Videos Help

K. got this old school gateway solo laptop. its got windows xp. everytime i watch a video its always choppy/sketchy. it pauses every second even when the video is loaded. whats the solution???

VLC or Media Player Classic, both use less resources

In that case no. Are you using IE or Firefox? Try Firefox if you aren't. Other than that only other thing that might help is adding more memory.

Also you might want to try running defrag to help make sure hard drive access isn't being bogged by fragmented files.
