i got a USB adapter called EasyCAP off of Ebay. the disc that came with it has Ulead video studio SE. i load the disc and get everything going. when i open Ulead, and try to do anything with it, it freezes up and the only way i can close it out is restart my computer. so, i look around and find AVS video recorder. get that program all installed and it does the same thing. i have a bunch of home movies on HI-8 and VHS that i want to put to dvd. im not sure where to look for a different program that i dont' have to pay for, or how to get this Ulead program to work right.
BTW: on 3 different computers, i had Ulead photo editor and it did the same thing.
