I just sold my 61" DLP tv to help fund the purchase of this:
http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/consumer/consDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&oid=63077381
which will shine an image on a 122" DaLite automatic drop down screen.
I don't have a picture of the screen but there isn't much to see.
Anyone have opinions on Epson's projectors?

I've never seen or used an Epson before but I'm sure you will enjoy it. I know I do mine! Here's a quick shitty pic of my 100" screen. I can't fathom another 22" diag. on my wall.

That's a pretty nice setup there.... What are the specs on your projector?

Hey Kevin,
I am currently using a Mitsubishi HC 6500 and a Elite screen.
http://www.projectorreviews.com/mitsubishi/hc6500/
That's a pretty good website for pictures and fairly detailed info. I'm sure you've checked out avsforum.com as well, but tons of info on that site as well.
Any other questions let me know.

Thanks for the info..... If I happen to change my mind, which is unlikely, whatever I choose will have at least 50,000:1 contrast ratio. If I remember correctly, the epson I quoted above has 75k:1

I actually got this the weekend Best Buy started carrying this model a few months back. I think their pricing was messed up, because I got it for about a grand cheaper than I could find a most places and for what it's listed at now on their site. :banana:It was a nice step up from the Sharp I had.
