On my home PC when I open up Internet Explorer sometimes it resolves to DNS and opens my home page and other times it just sits there forever. It is completely random whether or not it has the ability to find any website. Thoughts?

not sure I will be able to help you, but this question will be asked.
What version of IE are you using?

Ie 8
it's a glitch in IE8, I've also seen it on Windows 7 with IE8.
closing all IE windows, and opening a new one typically fixes it.

i hate this 8 shit. 7 worked fine for me, and now that i updated to 8, my fucking MSN messenger doesn't automatically log me in when i fire up my computer like it did before. even though EVERY time i log into it, i click the "automatically sign me in" shit. fucking garbage, but i hate Firefox with a passion, so i'm forced to stick with it.
Never forced - uninstall the fucker.
Add remove programs, uninstall. Easy Cheesy.
