7.40s?

it spun, over-revved, seat belt wasn't tight enough, windows were down, it was humid, wrong octane, converter was too tight, neal chance, borrowed converter, big exhaust, old tires, slow reaction time, tuned, not tuned, empty bottle, street car, 7,000lbs, power windows, full weight, not enough seat time....

I just thought I'd cover 'em before they came out again. ;)

...but it does look pretty good, honestly.

I dont care if that car is a nitrous motor. A 408 should run in the 6s Nitrous motor or not & with Nitrous converter!

The 348 I have runs what his runs with Full AC & 17s on BGF Drag Radials on it all the way around on motor!

The car should be doing 6.90 to 6.80 on motor & low 6s to high 5s on a 200 shot if the car is a Nitrous cammed motor & Tune & Converter.

it wont run for shit setup for motor on the jug because most streetable verters that are in the 5k range get sprayed thru even with a 100 shot.

On the other hand most nitrous converter's only seem to leave at 2-2500rpm on the footbrake, but I can manage almost 3800rpm out the hole with a t-brake.

It will run a 6.X on the motor. Aint no doubt on that one.

Fact is the car should run way faster. Post some vids & prove me wrong!

My car is setup for a 150 shot of spray. Last I checked that car is running a 200 shot. Go check LS1tech, plenty of 346s running way faster then that 408! I dont give a fuck how you twist the words. It is what it is! Sounds like some RPM Nuthuggers here cause this kid took his shit to RPM!!!!!

Also Adam I have seen SLOWNBMTA car run many times & his car was setup for spray & it ran pretty consistant Low 7s on the motor!

My car would only run 6.90's on motor.......:frown: 468 BBC
But it would run 5.60's on a 200 shot.:147:

The car runs 7.1 to 7.0s @ 96mph mid 1.5 60fts on 17inch TTIIs with BFG Drag Radials & full stock suspension & AC & Sub & Amp with Full Interior & 6.90 to high 6.8s @ 98mph low 1.5 to high 1.4 60fts on Bogarts. Im pretty sure if I hit the car with a 150 shot it would hit 6.40s to 6.50s on the Bogarts!

what is nuts is that a 4l60-e has a much better first gear and will get out of the hole or hit the tires harder than a TH400, that is another reason why on motor the 4 speeds do fairly well. Heck.... iirc a PT4000 works real good with a small amount of spray... but hit it with 300 worth of nitrous and see how far it gets you.

this is a dumb argument btw.

I thought you where running a 4L60. I wont switch to a 400 or 350 just cause of the 1st gear ratio in the 60Es. My car out 60fts alot of Suspension cars with how hard my 60E hits. Also I have a PT4000 in my car to boot!

Mikey's car may run what it should on motor but it's not running what it should according to the mouth that was dribbling his shit for the last 2 years about how fast it would go.

The car should fly on the bottle...it's got no excuses other then what he says and it's been this way for damn near 2 years now.

Mikey - fix the clearance for the rear if that's the issue...don't say you make to much power to spin 325's on motor when it's really just the set up that is not right AGAIN. Take it to RPM let them fix it correctly like all the other stuff and go enjoy it. And yes this is as nice as I'm going to be on a monday morning.

There was nothing claried. He said he had a bottle too.

My best on motor was a 1.54 on 17's with a sub,ac/powersteering, a monster in teh cup holder, texting my g/f with blue jeans on and a watch on. :lame:

I'm proving a point because Seb and Mikey are in the same classification.

I know that if he knew why he would understand. He just doesnt know enough about what I have and the difference in his car and mine.

Nate, only reason the clearance was not taken care of was due to the cruise. I wanted to make it and didnt know it was an issue. It only took a few passes to figure it out.
