I picked one up today and its pretty cool. I love the tombstone and the multitasking. will take some getting used to.

Forgot to add, I got invited to the pre party event. They had abunch of cowboys out there. DeMarcus Ware, moose, Jason Witten etc,

Haha! I like how people that say that, have never had a chance to play around with one. Everything the iphone does, the pre does better and faster...

It loads everything ALOT faster than the iphone and has WAYY smoother scrolling.

fuck that thing. i just spent about 5 minutes molesting one at walmart and was less than impressed. the fucking windows wouldnt close! i tried everything, including what the dude said (slide up) and nothing worked. i had 8 fucking app things open and none of them would close. That and the slide thing wasnt as smooth as i'd hoped.

Dude, do you realize how many fucker put their hands on that thing. I can tell you right now the palm pre will easily handle at 8 windows/cards running at the same time without any lag. How many windows can the iphone have running at one time again??

I haven't messed with one yet. If it really is as good as some of ya'll say it's too bad it's on sprint.

i was the first to molest this thing other than the employee that pulled it out of the box, plugged in the battery, and handed it across the counter to me. I'm not saying the Iphone is better or worse, as i have very little experience with one, but i'm just saying i didnt care for the Pre when i had my grubby little dickskinners all over it. :tongue:

when do you need more than one app at a time? I cant think of a time I would need more than one unless Im playing a game while listening to music.

I believe it is supposed to be on Verizon in December.

BTW, those pictures are too small. Make them bigger.

i have had palm phones for a few years now(treo 650's and centro) but i'd done with them as soon as my contract is up. been with sprint for about 8 years but gonna go to att or tmobile. fuck paying $18 just to switch phones if i need to, also fuck 160 characters per txt!

i know some newer phones will let you type more than 160 but then it just splits them up into multiple txts...that's so fucking annoying. if you use proper grammar and type out entire words with the right punctuation, apostrophes, commas, etc. 160 will let you get maybe one or two sentences. i can't stand that shit.

it sucks when people with tmobile(i know they can send more than 160) send you a txt and it comes in like 2 or 3 different txts and usually they aren't even in the proper order so you have to wait for all them to come in to make sense of the txt. don't even get me started on txts coming in minutes or hours after they were originally sent to you...

sorry for rambling on, it's a MAJOR pet peeve of mine when talking about phone stuff

Well, I finally got it and at first I didn't know if I was going to like it, but as with most things I do/get, I have to give myself an adjustment period. I don't do so well with change. :o After just a few days of having it, I really am starting to like it. It's got some very nice features and it's pretty user friendly. As soon as some of those apps start increasing in number, I have a feeling it's going to be awesome.

Anyways, so far, no complaints. :)
