Ok, I know you guys all think Im a moron when it comes to proper dieting and fat loss, but Im just offering up some good information. Take it or leave it. I completely disagree with you stumps on a healthy 1200 calorie diet. According to the fatasses of dfwstangs, the proper diet for a 300lb guy is 1200cals a day, even though the American College of Sports Medicine doesnt recommend less than 1800 cals for a man and 1200 FOR A WOMAN...but what do they know...they are professionals like everyone else here on the board.
First online books is the "Game Over" diet. It is based on macro-nutrient manipulation and controlling insulin levels. Your "diet" is based on eating healthy fats combined with GOOD carbohydrates to slow down breakdown into glucose, thus avoiding an insulin spike that will lead to fat storage. It is based on eating 6-8 meals a day and eating LOTS of veggies for your carbs.

The 2nd book is sworn by on bodybuilding.com. It is the "Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle". The books theory is that you are not here for weight loss, you are here for fat loss. The goal is to preserve lean body mass and lose fat. They go big into the avoidance of starvation (1200calories a day) so I think most people here wont like the book. Do some searching on bodybuilding.com...lots of people have lost tens to hundreds of lbs of fat. Lots of people swear by it. Its about 350 pages...dont cry, just read it when you can. The point is to change your habits and your lifestyle, not "diet".
I think if you guys can combine the knowledge of the two, you will have great success. Im just starting this week and have set a goal of 15-20lbs of FAT LOSS in 3 months. Im very dedicated and can choke down bland food and eat almost the same crap every day.
damnit..files didnt attach. Im uploading them on a file sharing site
