Suggestion on boots?

I currently have a set of Thor boots which are fine, just too big for me (size 11) and red.

Looking for something that is lighter, decent flexibility and doesn't kill the bank.

Suggestions?

Less than Alpine Stars but still pretty pricey.

the thors my buddy has, seem pretty good, and the buckles are alot better then my oneals, thats for sure.

How are they weight wise? My 2 biggest complaints on my thor's were weight and giant calf I'm supposed to have to wear them.

Are we talking dirt or street?
For dirt I prefer Alpinestars. I have Tech 6's, my son has newer Tech 3's.
Decent boots for the money.

I've never had real street boots so cannot comment.

i would assume weight will be pretty close to the other premium boots. SG12's and Tech 10's may be a little bit lighter, but the price tag is much heavier on those. before SG12's, SG10's were the premium boot for gaerne. seriously, go try a pair on, and buy them. you will be satisfied.

not sure on your comment on huge calf... meaning you have to be strong just to lift them or just the larger opening? the larger opening in the premium boots is because most run knee braces when riding, so they need to run a bit bigger up top.

Larger opening. I bet I have 2-3" of space around my leg.

Have you tried Fox? Thats the boots i used to wear and the were pretty comfy and somewhat reasonable and they were light to me.

I tried on some fox mx boots that were ok and a set of (I'm assuming) atv/trail boots and the trail boots were comfortable but I read the buckles don't hold up the greatest.

Mine were MX boots. I had them for at least 2 years and the buckles where fine for me. They are pretty inexpensive compared to the others. Thors where way to heavy for me. Then again this was awhile ago.

I went Italian and ordered a set of the Gaerne sg10's.
