I'm talking years... long story short, my hamstrings are cramping and tightening up bad. Is there anything I can do besides stretching? It's been since Tuesday. Wasn't bad the first day after, but today, WHEW BOY!!

I stretched like a mother fucker beforehand and after, because I knew this would happen.

Ease your way back into it man. Slowly work in the routine, don't go balls to the wall if you havne't been in the gym in years. that's just asking to hurt yourself.

Hot bath or heating pad will help with vasodilation and get the blood moving through the area to move out lactic acid and help replace electrolytes (such as potassium) which will help with the cramping.
