Im a skinny dude 5'11 150 and have been working out for about 3 months now and have not really seen any results. I just want to get bigger and i have a feeling my diet is part of the problem. Was wondering if anyone could give me some input on supplements? how much to workout? what to eat? any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
Eat...just eat
You need to pack on 4000-5000 calories a day. You can work out all you want and never gain any size if you dont eat. Protein shake is my only suggestion on a supplement.

347Mike will be able to give you some advice on this.
I just remember that he would eat and eat and eat. When he was done eating, he would eat some more.

Eat almost anything you can, but try not to raise your cholesterol in the process.
Supplements: Omega 3's , protien, and go from there.
How old are you?

Pushing weight will help you gain as well.

It's a vicious cycle, eat and work out. Period. It will suck at first but all you have to do is EAT and keep eating and then eat some more. Once you start eating you will HOPEFULLY be working out just as hard as you are eating. Now for me the more I was in the gym the hungrier I would become and thats what I mean by vicious cycle. Now you will shit a lot and be tired just as much but if you're serious do a search on my name and I have some old logs of what I ate. It may not be the best for you and my advice may not work but what im preaching is what worked for me.
I went from 130ish to a max of 168 in about 6-8 months and was at 12% BF. All my weight double, I went from barely being able to push up 135 5 times to doing 90lbs db's for reps. I stopped working out and in 3 months I am right back at 145 ish area. Thats the nature of the beast I guess.
Good luck,
Mike

PS my calorie intake was anywhere from 3300 to 4500 depending on how clean I ate that day. I was always over 3000 though.

.....
When i said EAT ALL THE TIME I was implying to EAT all the time. Three meals isn't going to do anything for you unless there 1000+ a meal and even then you are coming up short if you are as skinny as you say you are.
Protein Bars, Peanuts, Yogurt, Shakes, Beef Jerky, oatmeal are things I ate on a daily basis from 6 am to 9:30 at night.

Man...I just started eating 6 meal (3000-3500 cals) and its a beating. You have to just keep eating (and drinkign water). You wont be hungry...hell, you will probably be full for a couple weeks. Your stomach will hurt but you keep eating

You should be eating 6 times a day. It's pretty evident by your weight that you have good metabolism so you don't have to eat super healthy like some do. I eat a shit load of fast food and still maintain a 1-2 lb/week weight gain. Eat every 3 hours (should be around 6 times a day). Eat until you're uncomfortable.
