There is a place not to far off 67 on the other side of glenrose (west side) that is a great place to eat. I went there last weekend and there was approx 100 motorcycles out there. It is a restaurant called the Loco Coyote. The beer is cold and the food is damn good. At first glance of their menu I thought they were a tad pricey at 10.00 plus for a burger. When it came out, I realized I was wrong. You can't eat one of these burgers by yourself. (at least not with out wanting to throw up afterwards) They have a full range of items on the menu and every thing is damn good. It's out in the country with green pastures. It's worth the drive. Realistically any thing you order you could easily split between 2 people and not leave hungry. One guy got the LOCO Coyote Burger which had every thing on it. He looked like a beaver chewing on a redwood tree. This is half of a burger off the kid's menu

I have been there a few times.in the summer me and a few friends that have buggies we load up the wife's and go for a cruise down 67 into glennrose and we hit the county roads and we swing by there for a bite. The portions are gigantic then we cut back down 144 into granbury and then into joshua to home its a kick ass ride.
Good catch, if we do a ride this summer we may have to stop by there.

Always up for a ride. And been to loco coyote several times. My wife is from Glen Rose. I love that area. I just wish I could still get my jeep into the river at low water and Lanndel mill.

How about a spring ride...
FYI
They are not open Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. I rode out there for lunch today, but they were closed so I kept on going to Stephenville. Then came back via Cleburne to Rio Vista to Grandview to Maypearl to Venus to Mansfield. That 916 to 157 is a great ride! Only problem is that 916 is pretty bumpy in some of the curves.

Good to know... We rode out the weekend after this thread was started and it was great...
The onion ring appetizer is big enough to feed about 10... we ordered a single bbq plate with three meats... ribs, brisket and sausage and even after eating, we had food left over...
we split a small blackberry cobbler and it was really good but I don't like the seeds so I wont be ordering that again...
