Okay so I got my first ticket yesterday. I gassed it threw one gear not thinking a cop was around and well he saw me. He chased me down and pulled me over. I knew he didnt radar me so couldnt get me for speeding. SO, he wrote me for a City Ordinance Violation #25 (excessive speed)

Anybody ever hear of such a ticket?

Fucking pigs, why cant they just be cops and find the killers and drug dealers, not someone enjoying their hard earned money.

I just called and checked on it. City ordinance violation for "driving in a unsafe manor" doesn't go on record or against insurance. Fine $264! OUCH!

Just FYI there is no exhibition of acceleration anymore. Did away with that.

Yes, I've always thought that was a silly ticket, but I guess they replaced it with the excessive speed, which sounds the same anyways.

Nah bro, they replaced exhibition of acceleration with a class B misdemeanor for street racing so they can take you to jail. Or something similiar. The excessive speed was just a comment in reference to the City ordinance violation. The ticket was a City Ordinance violation for driving in a unsafe manor.
