My friend was laid off of her job and she is looking for a front desk position in the medical field. She is going to school to be a nurse and would like to get her foot in the door for in the future when she is out of school. She does have front desk experience.
She is a single mother of three and needs a job badly. If anyone knows of a job opening in the Dallas area, or knows of anyone she can contact, please let me know. She needs something as soon as possible and is willing to work extremely hard and is also very reliable.

Look up employment wanted in the yellow pages and register at the ones close in your area. It ain't much but it's good to know if something does come up, you'll get a call. G/L
just look at all the major hospital networks: THR, HCA, JPS, Parkland, etc...
Unit secretary positions in any department or a med/surg tech positions. Is she currently in nursing school? If not, does she have her prereqs done? Going to a hospital may really benefit her...they pay for nursing school with a 2 year commitment. Not bad and it is much easier to get in. They go based on "most likely to succeed" and not by GPA. My hospital has 12 applying and 12 spots for August

I don't think it matters what part of Dallas. I will get her to send me her resume and I will send that to you along with her e-mail.
