I want to explore the upper limits of the bike, but I just don't feel safe at all trying to take a corner at 80mph on the street. I've done some farm roads up by ray roberts, but after nearly tagging a deer I slowed down quite a bit and it just wasn't what I was looking for.

Do any of the local tracks have an "open" day where I can ride up and learn to really ride the bike without having to worry about a soccer mom popping out and ruining my day?

By open I don't mean free - but I don't want to sign up on a race day and be that slow rider putting about the track or getting in other riders way.

Be warned....if you take a hit off the Track Pipe, you will be hooked!:684:

The classroom instruction alone is worth the price of admission!

RIDESMART is awesome, I have been riding sportbikes for over 10 years and never did a track day. I did two last year and learned more in those two days about how to enter and exit a corner and bike control then i leared in the past just riding. Defineatly do it.
