just picked up a rem 700 ltr .223 and i want to camo the gun.what is the best/most durable paint to use?

I like duracoat myself it is available direct from laurel weaponry. They claim it is the most durable firearm coating on the planet. Im not sure if they are right on that but to me they are one of the best.

Do it right, just get the camo Krylon, then after a week when it rubs off you can change colors

seams like somekind of epoxy paint would be the most durable.

i saw a video on duracoat but it was shot through an airbrush settup.im looking for something good out of a can.

Recently purchased a used Mossberg 500 with a Duracoat camo finish. Stuff looks like it has held up well as this gun has been through hell and back. I don't know the history, but I do know after a complete tear down, the gun has been in the water probably more than once and in an area with red soil and sand. I was amazed at the quality of this stuff.

I duracoated a m16 I built, it has held strong for about a year now. I would definatly recommend to anyone.:wave:

Brownell's Aluma-Hyde is the SHIT, but you have to prep/rough up the surface, or it won't last.
