Crap, crap, crap!!!

When you submitt a Form to the ATF thru your dealer for NFA items, where does the stamp go? Does the paper work go back to the transfering dealer or the transferee's address on the form?


The transfering dealer mixed up two addresses to create one wrong address for me. If the ATF mails anything there it will get returned to sender, I hope.

Next I need to contact the transfering dealer and see how we need to correct this. Trouble is I am not in the States and won't be back until August. I was really hoping to have had my stamps and purchases by then.

Good news to hear. I looked all over BATF's website and can not come up with a phone number that looks appropriate for the question.

How do people track the progress of their application?

I still need to find out how to correct the address on file with the ATF for the trust though.

And there's really no tracking of an application. They'll only tell you if they have it and if it has gone pending.
