Which is better to run a pair of?

I'll be using a 500/1 JL amo so, power is okay there.

The W6 is about 9 years old. The 8W6 and 15W6 were phased out years ago. The W3 uses knowledge gained from W6 and other woofers to be more reliable/better sounding. The W6V2 will ship soon and it has a cast basket and some W7 technology. We have not sold them for 2-3 years because the W3 (which comes in three different ohm loads) replaced the W6.

Look at it this way, would you buy a 1993 vette or a 2002 vette?

The W3's come in 4ohm and 8 ohm (DVC) don't they?

Would it be better to get 2 DVC's or 2 4 ohm ones?

All W3's are DVC. Dual 2, Dual 4, Dual 6.
