The White House didn't disclose any major decisions about its plans for automakers, and the meeting was at the request of Michigan Democrats, a person familiar with the matter said. But the meeting angered some Michigan Republicans, who griped that they were left out.

You can't really blame the Democrats for this behavior, since the Republicans treated them much the same way when they had control of Congress. Both parties leave a lot to be desired, but Republicans are definately the lesser of two evils when it comes to doing what is best for our country.
