To guarantee warranties! Get a load of this bullshit. Now you are going to have to pay for your neighbors new water pump.. when it goes out...

Awesome, I am going to go buy a new Z06 and put nitrous on it, blow it to hell and get it fixed under warranty. At least I get part of my income tax money back that way.

Beauty is, on my new 08 Ram, I got the unlimited mile/lifetime bumper to bumper warranty. So that's how they're going to cover it.

I think most of that will be on the Chrysler side of the house. Besides them having vastly shittier cars than GM, they are also the most likely to go Chapter 7 and simply disappear.

I think Jeep will be the only brand to survive that mess..

At what point is this going to stop?

Drive that bitch to the grave. They are banking at some point you will want something new.

Exactly. I sat down and did some figuring, lifetime power train, lifetime bumper to bumper, even if I get a new truck eventually, I'm keeping this one. I was told right off the bat the warranty is non transferrable so I was thinking they want me to get rid of it.

Yea i crack up when i saw the GM commercials, " GM TOTAL CONFIDENCE WARRANTY". Confidence in what? That the government is going to backup your warranty, cause you know the bankrupt ass companies arent gonna do it.

This is so stupid, i love american cars as i love my country but they are just circling the drain. As soon as it became public that they were having money problems that almost guaranteed they will go under at some point. Some people will buy a american car when they cut huge deals but that means they arent making any money, the end is coming for them. Their repuation at this point is unreversible, most americans think american cars are garbage and its sad. We used to make the best most affordable cars on the planet, until they underestimated the japanese anyways. I feel like i was born in the wrong era i swear, what happened when i we didnt just FEEL we made the best of everything, we actually did it everyday. Dark days ahead for america im afraid, destroyed by foreign countries in a way which basically makes our military about as effective as the maginot line in WW2.

Better not do a DAMN thing to it. They will go over that bitch with a fine tooth comb to find a reason to void that warranty...

I'm not. It's the first truck I've ever had that only goes to the dealer for oil changes, I haven't put any addon's. I'm erring on the side of caution
