Got me thinking. I usually play Hardcore S&D. Just watched our lone surviving player get taken out by the only player on the other team because he chose to use another perk over UAV jammer. Was curious as to what everyone uses for each game as some people seem to be idiotic and use classes that have no place in Hardcore S&D, like stopping power and martydom. I have mine setup specifically for the games I like to play.

Classes:

Covert Ops I (used for the smaller Hardcore S&D, DM or HQ maps)
MP5 w/ Silencer
USP .45 w/ silencer
claymores
UAV jammer
dead silence
smoke

Covert Ops II (used for the larger Hardcore S&D, DM and HQ maps)
G3 w/ silencer
USP .45 w/ Silencer
claymores
UAV Jammer
extreme conditioning
smoke

Primary I (used for capture the flag, non-hardcore DM, etc)
AK47 with red dot
gold desert eagle
frag x 3
stopping power
deep impact
stun

Primary II (generally rotate the M16, P90, and G36c in and out)

stopping power

flash

Sniper (used sparingly, typically for the creek map, bog, etc in Hardcore games)

I really only play free for all because I dont like playing with other people who just ran the map all crazy on team deathmatch. My choice of weapon is:

Extreme Conditioning

or if I feel like insulting people

I play Team Deathmatch the most, and I kind of switch these out depending on the map and my mood. I can make them all work, but I really like the Swiss army knife approach. Having an answer for just about any environment. I play Demo Dick the most for sure. High powered reach-out-and-touch-someone with a shotgun blast at the ready. :sgrin:

We almost use the same sniper. Except i use the longer breaths perk.

It's a good one. It's nice being able to crack off 2 or 3 shots in succession if you're in a hurry. I no longer use Iron Lungs because I found that if I need it, I've lost my opportunity for the shot, and the recovery takes longer, it seems.

The best part of that setup is rocking the M4 as a secondary weapon when someone gets too close, or when you're running between sniper spots.

Nah, I'm not that good. I just found that for my own style of play, if I'm holding my breath that long and trying to bullseye them, I'm gonna miss. Aim/Acquire/Fire and move on.

As far as camping, I would argue that the nature of sniping dictates camping some times. Otherwise, you spend the whole game running around, far from the bad guys, trying to find another spot.

I usually just play deathmatch.

I usually just use the .50 caliber on any level & about 90% of the time 1st & about 99% of the time top 3.

SNIPER
.50 caliber (main) Regular scope (BEST IMO!)
GOLD Desert Eagle(side arm)
Motion trigger satchell charge
Grenade
(also leave a grenade when I die)
& I think I have to be able to run faster.

Only other weapon I use if I'm not feeling like sniping I will use the M5.

I loved it from the first time I came across it by accident from someone I killed & I finished the round in first place from joining that game with 7 kills under by using the .50. Awesome weapon!

Hell yeah. Creek is cool, you'll like it because of the sniping possibilities.

I really like Chinatown myself, good CQB action.

Broadcast has a lot going for it too, because you that map could go close range, medium, or far away snipe, just depending on how you play it.

Killhouse is great for a hand full of buddies to blow the shit out of each other. It's like Shipment, but not as silly-small.

Creek is a big map, and there are lots of high spots. If you're not in one of those high spots, you're running around with your dick in your hand, waiting to get sniped. :D
