Is it just me, or do all of the available phones from Sprint suck? I'm due for an upgrade but I don't see anything worth it. Which Sprint phone are you using? Do you like it?

I've got the instinct, and I really like it. I don't use all the features like e-mail and stuff, but the navigation is choice, and being able to check the weather on the fly is cool too. It has some cool features. I'd reccomend it, I haven't had a single problem, you get two batteries so one can be fully charged at all times, I really like that. I would DEFINITELY buy the protective screen, and a nice gel cover. I've dropped mine once and the gel cover saved my ass.

It's not just you.

I'm running the HTC 6800 right now. When my contract is up, if i don't see a good phone through them, i'm gone.

HTC Tough Diamond and the Rumor II. I like the RumorII for texting, but I just got both of these phone last night. The Touch Diamond took me a while to tweak but I am getting used to it. Love the WiFi and other features of it.

My wife's got the Rant and it's a nice little phone. I just can't pay $100 up front for one ($50 plus $50 mail in rebate) and extend the contract for two years for that thing.

I have the palm centro.. I love the phone but theres always something better. Once you go to a smart phone you dont want to go back to anything else!

Once you go to a smart phone you dont want to go back to anything else!is yours with sprint? i'm annoyed with mine, i've had it about a year or so. my biggest complaints is the buttons are just a little bit too small and grouped together and when txting i can only send/receive 160 characters...oh, and the constant lagging/freezing up for a few seconds at a time :banghead:

When my treo does that (same OS), I just get rid of some shit and that helps it runs faster.

I have the HTC Touch Diamond.. It's a cool phone but a couple of things are a PITA. One, when a call comes in the screen is active so if you try to pull it out of your pocket or holder you can hit reject on accident. Also, getting to the dialpad, back out, speaker, etc while on a call is irritating. The volume in the earpiece isn't that loud eaither. None of those are huge issues for me but the ones I deal with. Internet and other functions work well. Oh, the battery life sucks too.

I would go for the HTC Touch Pro if I did it again, mainly for the slideout keyboard.

Old School here - LG PM325 (first sprint phone w/ bluetooth)

Perfect size for pocket riding, and I don't text or dick with interwebz.biz on my phone...so I am happy.

Keep an eye on - http://www.phonescoop.com/ for a good idea as to new phones coming out, or to see if a phone you might like it offered by your provider.

I'm in the same situation as you, and I agree. I'm rocking an ancient A900.

I have the Samsung Upstage flip phone, for the last year the flip buttin would not work, finally got it fixed but my contract expires 4-17-09, will be doing a family plan with my wife on AT&T. I also have a M300 that works ok i guess, its one of the free phones, very basic, sometimes the signal is week, both phones have internal antennas, so I heard from sprint people is the reason for the weaker signals.

Yep, or just sim unlock, and a different radio.

Uh, what? lol
Sprint phones don't have SIMs. And a radio ROM change doesn't change the interface. A custom ROM is a whole new software load.

HTC Touch Pro with spb mobile shell on it. But the touch flow 3d should just do pretty much everything you need.

the phone options i have suck so much ass I'm to embarrass to tell yall. But it keeps my payments down to $30 with sprint. So I will take that over a badass phone anyday right now.

Ah, forgot. It's what I had to do with my tilt, haha. I'm still on the stock 6.1, but unlocked, and manilla 2D. Thinking about doing a different rom, but not sure which one to go with.

I tried all of them. Literally. I must've put 15 different ROMs on this thing until I settled. I ended up settling on a custom ROM I put together from a kitchen.

Then pick out a rom you want.

Flash Rom.
