The DSi comes out on April 5th for $169.99.

However if you reserve one at GameStop, you can trade in your old DS for a $70 credit. $99.99 for a DSi might be worth it IMO.

- two cameras (one between the screens and one on the outside of the body)
- built in photo editing software
- downloadable software and games(like the iTunes app store)
- port for an SD card
- bigger screen (3.25")
- voice recorder and music player
- new web browser

On the downside, they have taken away the GBA port. So your old GBA games can't be used and other games that use the port (like Guitar Hero) are unusable.

I haven't decided if I'm getting one but since my old DS is worth $70 on a trade in, I might just do it..

Information about the trade in program are here:

i guess other than the bigger screen i dont care.

i wonder if it still works with an r4 card? that's the only reason i like the ds! free games.

Momo - Do you know a lot about the R4's? I have never messed with them, but I would be interested in getting a bunch of games for my kids that way.

it's a cake walk. no modding needed.

just get the r4 catridge for ds (about $20) and a micro-sd card ($15). i know they support up to atleast 2gb, might be more on the newer r4 catridges.

download games
using micro sd to usb adapter, copy to micro sd card.
put micro sd card into r4 cartridge.
put r4 card into DS
enjoy!
