I got laid off from my position in Supply Chain at Dynegy, Inc here in Houston about a month ago. The search isn't going so well since I'm a little over a year out of school (Texas A&M), and only have entry-level experience. Even still, my resume is quite impressive for someone with a little over a year at a Fortune 500 company. If anyone thinks they may have any leads for me, please let me know. I'm willing to move just about anywhere in Texas.

Email me at woody1385@yahoo.com and I'll reply w/ a copy of my resume.

Thanks

Brandon

Hang in there man, Houston has one of the best job markets in the country right now with some of the lowest unemployment numbers. I am in Houston as well, and with energy prices starting to climb again it will spell good news for all of us down here.

BS in Economics w/ minor in Business Administration. Lots of skills. Not set on a particular job. That's kinda the point of being entry level. I have Supply chain/procurement/purchasing background, but I'm not only looking for similar positions. Again, I can send my resume out, just shoot me an email please!

Keep an eye out for Cooper B-Line / Cooper Industries on the boards (Monster.com etc). They're actually looking to hire outside for a new supply chain/purchasing manager. Worth a shot.

Thanks man. I think I actually applied for that position a week or two ago. I doubt I have enough experience to be considered, but I figured I might as well apply.
