COD World at War

Is this a fun game? I don't have x-box live yet. So I'm just playing the game solo. To me it's hard to figure out or play. Has anyone beaten this game? Maybe I need to meet up with someone that is good at this game and give me some tips.

IMO online play is a lot more fun than the campaign. That goes for most first person shooter games.

GOW was a pain for me. I couldn't get use to it and gave up. WaW is pretty entertaining as online, the more levels you get, you unlock weapons/options.

The way I see it, 60 bucks or whatever it is for Xbox live gold saves my ass a lot of money when I stay home and play vs the bar, etc.

i started playing cod4 after i have played halo forever and i sucked, i mean really sucked it was way more fast paced than halo and its easier to die. it took a while for me to get good at it. i think a big part of playing cod, or any shooter for that matter is learning the maps. the more i played the better i got. i was good at halo because i knew the maps but i was lost in cod because i didn know the maps and its easier to die. my friend just started playing and hes decent at shooters but he really blows at cod. i have watched him play and he's always running in the wrong direction and always into dead ends ect. i think its halarious but he'll get better once he learns the maps. i also had to switch the button layout to tactical, it just makes more sense to me.

by the way cod4 kicks cod5's ass. i havent played cod5 since the first week it came out.

It's fun. Campaign is pretty boring. CoD4 campaign owns the shit out of CoD5. Online is pretty cool. I'm only like a level 37. I got tired of it after a while, but that's just me. I get tired of games pretty quickly.

I have it on the Xbox 360. Plus I can't get online. I don't have the internet at my house just on my laptop and there is no way i can connect to it. So I have one year membership for nothing.:yell:

We get it every once in a while. Usually it's fine though.

PS3 CoD > 360 CoD. It seems like the 360 version is slower IMO than the PS3 one.
