Seems like nearly every gripe about sfotware/os has been addressed with the new OS release... Peer to peer bluetooth connection, Copy & Paste, MMS, turn by turn directions, voice memos, VOIP, stereo bluetooth support, 3g tethering to use the phone as a modem etc...Beta now, will be a free upgrade for all iPhones.

A guy at work up here has 3.0 already,(he has the sdk, and you get the beta as soon as its ready), it is pretty sick!

Could you please post back after hes had a chance to play with it a while? I am considering getting a dev license for all of us at work that have them to get the new features but we need the phone to still work well.

we were messing with it this morning, mms text, landscape option on everything when it comes to typing, has a built in voice recorder/memo sender, which can be sent via text email or voicemail.....thats all i got to see in action
