A Father and 2 sons are with us no more,
Our memories of them will be 4 score.
Set aside your worries and strife,
Take a moment to remember their life.
Eric took under his wing a mother and 3,
Sometimes it was tough, some nights were long,
But Eric turned into what every man should be.
He loved his family with all his heart,
He did all he could do to keep them from being apart.
Eric and the boys were friends to all,
He helped those in need without a call.
Josh and Nick were cute little guys,
They both had their mother’s pretty eyes.
Both the boys had a competitive spirit,
They would kick the ball with all force in it.
Some kicks would go through the goal,
Some went out of bounds,
But all would know when those boys were around.
Eric will be missed by me and mine,
I pray that Candice and Sarah will be just fine.
