...Because other detailers do! :D
This is another local detailer's personal vehicle. Apparently he's had a really tough time getting this paint looking good. And this paint was tough, but looks 100% better than it did! Although, not perfect :(
This paint was the softest I've seen yet. Try and wipe a Quik Detailer spray on it with a soft microfiber towel, and it scratches the piss out of it :(
Befores...

Sorry about the hazy look on the after shots. For some reason, the Quik Detailer spray that I used, hazed up and I couldn't get it off 100%. Not sure if it was because of the cold weather or what, weird! :(

So the afters look great, but if the paint being so soft is the problem, isn't it going to look like shit the first time he washes it?
I thought the only true fix to soft paint like that, was a new paint job. But obviously, you're the pro.

Yes thats true, but if he maintain this with a bimonthly polishing, along with proper washing techniques, I believe it'll last him a while. It'll never be 100% perfect(because it's so soft), but it'll stay in better condition than when he brought it to me.

I wouldn't think a pricey german car like that would have such soft paint.

Me either. I put a paint guage on it, and it seems to be a factory paint. Although, there was a lot of trash in the paint, so it's hard to tell. All edges were smooth, and cosistant with a factory paint job. So who knows.

Nice Audi, but the paint is already crapping out? looks like its a 2005.5+ car.
My 01 Audi paint has held up very well.

I don't think the paint is crapping out at all. It's just a soft paint, which scratches easier than normal. Other than that, there is nothing wrong with it.
