I had the spring replaced on the garage door a few months back because the original one broke; they ended up putting 2 springs I believe so it wouldn't have too much tension on just one I guess.
Anyways, they told me that the garage door itself would need to be replaced soon & I think the time has come. The door is a little bent on the bottom or warped some because sometimes going up & down it rubs on the frame & this isn't always. (My brother pressed the button to close the door & the car was in the way so it hit the bumber a little on one side)
Just wondered if anyone here does that kind of work & if they can cut me a good deal.
One more thing I am also wondering is I can I still reuse the springs that were replaced about 6 months ago? Or would buying a garage door include springs & all?
Also I might look into putting some insulation on it like the post here, unless there are some doors that already have it installed.
