This is a Sundance Winner and a project of all people, Brad Pitt. It is the story of 3 men who survived civil war in Sudan, walked the Kenya and raised in a refugee camp. The "Lost Boys" spend their youth in school at the camps, but once the schooling is over, there is literally nothing for them to do, so the US offersto relocate them all over the US.
I know, totally depressing topic.... It started to pick up when they were doing the interviews the day before the trip. The boys were so excited and clueless about things like electricity and running water... and FOOD. It was amazing to watch their reactions on their first flight... seeing people of another race for the first time and learning what donuts where.
The movie follows them for 3 years... watching them learn and prosper is veyr uplifting and all three of them are so likable.
