I hope he goes somewhere and tears it up, but there is a very sharp decline in RB's over 30 and when they have a downseason that usually is a very big sign.

It happens even more so when the RB is a workhorse like LT has been.

LT & Bush would make a great team. It'd be interesting to see LT go to the Saints

LT trained reggie bush when he was in highschool, took some special courses or something so there already good friends

I hope LT can hold together. He's been beat to hell and back. Look at Eric Dickerson for a prime example... I wish him the best, he needs to prove a bunch of people wrong this year.

He should sign in Denver for cheap, then put a beat down on Sandy Eggo twice a year and rub it in their faces.

I agree with this.

But is he up to it physically?

Staying with the Chargers.

Tomlinson gets new deal, will remain with Chargers

San Diego, CA (Sports Network) - The San Diego Chargers and running back LaDainian Tomlinson put to rest rumors that he would play elsewhere in 2009 as the two sides came to terms on a restructured three-year contract.

Tomlinson's old contract also was through 2011, but his new package is expected to help the Chargers in terms of the salary cap.

"I love San Diego and being a part of this team with my teammates," said Tomlinson. "My number-one priority was to stay here in San Diego. I truly believe this is the place that gives me the best chance to be successful and win a championship. I want to finish the job we started when I got here eight years ago. My heart has always been in San Diego. I couldn't imagine putting on another uniform."

The 29-year-old Tomlinson, the league's MVP in 2006 and a five-time Pro Bowl selection, holds the all-time NFL record for single season touchdowns (31). He rushed for 1,110 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2008, helping the Chargers rally late in the season for a third consecutive AFC West title.
