well i sold the colt gold cup tuesday and then took the colt ar15 to the gun show and left there with this....

colt defender in 45acp. nice little carry gun. i think i'm supposed to own a colt now for some reason.

the defender is an awesome little gun. but i just added another colt to the fray.

its a 1911 made in 1915, all factory except for the bomar sites, that will be the first thing i look for to replace. even came with a letter from colt to verify its age and where it was originally sold to.

You might want to reconsider the ambi safety... My Kimber carry has one and I find that when I brush up against things, including the seat belt, I knock the gun off safe... its not a big deal but its annoying...
