A guy at work is a gun dealer on the side. He had a few Yankee Hill Machine stripped lower receivers come in. I recently bought a Model1Sales lightweight upper through him so the desire to build a lower shot up. Yup, I grabbed one.

He still has a few. He also said he had a few Rock River Arms complete lower assemblies. PM me if you want his contact info. He's in Arlington and he's an FFL so there's no 6 month wait or having to deal with a pawn shop FFL.

He was asking $200 but you can't beat shopping two cubicles down from you with no waiting!

just an FYI MGS has a surplus of stripped lowers starting at 169 I think for DPMS, and up to 225 for S&W lowers.

The MGS guys are the most unfriendly salesmen I've known. Plus, the more I buy from this guy, the bigger the break I get. I got my Model1Sales lightweight lower and a set of YHM flip up sights through him and I know I'm not done.

if you're paying $200 done then you got a good deal, I was just making note of it for other people that might be looking for stripper lowers. Even at $169 people paying at MGS will spend more of course, but in comparison it's a decent deal to what I've been seeing lately.

Yea, I found it hard to pay that much when I just bought my CMMG one maybe a year ago for $109 out the door. I really had to focus on current market to convince myself to get this one.

At any rate, if and when the present administration makes gun owning tougher, I'll look back at this price and laugh at how cheap it was.
